CHOLESTEROL MANAGEMENT

High cholesterol can put you at risk for developing heart disease, which may lead to heart attack or stroke.  We work with you to meet your goal cholesterol level.Our clinic pharmacist can provide you with:

  1. Education about what affects cholesterol and ways to decrease it.
  2. Referral to dietitians to help maintain a low cholesterol diet.
  3. Cardi8ac risk profile to help predict your risk for heart disease.
  4. Prescriptions for cholesterol lowering medicine if needed.
  5. Lab monitoring of your progress.
Ways to lower your cholesterol:
  1. Eating a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol.
  2. Losing weight if you are overweight.
  3. Exercising regularly.
